Chelsey began her career in ABA working at the Delaware Autism Program during her undergraduate degree and loved connecting with kiddos with Autism Spectrum Disorder. From there she worked in Washington, D.C. with children in their homes and then at a Manhattan Charter school which serves children on the Autism Spectrum ages 5-21. Throughout her 8 years there she worked with children’s of all ages with varying levels of need. Some of her favorite memories are teaching adolescents necessary job skills for their future and “graduating” younger children out as they went on to enroll in their neighborhood elementary schools. Whether at home, school, or in the community Chelsey believes in teaching through fun approaches and allowing children to be their authentic selves while acquiring the skills they’ll need to be successful in school and out in the world. Chelsey has been working as a BCBA throughout the New York City boroughs since 2018 in a multitude of preschools, summer camps, elementary schools and in homes and communities.
