Gabriele (“Gabby”) Rivera is a warm, thoughtful behavior therapist with extensive experience supporting children across clinic, home, and private school settings. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kean University and a Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Purdue Global University.
Gabby has been working in the field of ABA since 2016, providing individualized support to children ages 2–15. Her work focuses on fostering meaningful skill development across communication, behavior, social engagement, independence, and emotional regulation using Progressive Kids’ modern, naturalistic approach.
Gabby uses a combination of Natural Environment Teaching (NET) and Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT), always prioritizing each child’s interests, strengths, and motivation. She believes strong rapport, trust, and engagement are the foundation for meaningful learning.
Across clinic-based programs, in-home services, and private school environments, Gabby collaborates closely with families, educators, and related service providers to promote consistency and meaningful skill development across settings. She delivers individualized programming aligned with each child’s unique needs and goals, in line with Progressive Kids’ philosophy.
Gabby’s calm presence, collaborative style, and child-centered approach align seamlessly with the Progressive Kids team. She is deeply committed to supporting the whole child within their natural environments and partnering with families and educational teams to create meaningful, lasting progress.
